Overcoming the Mental Disorder of Worry

This was from the recent lecture at Self Realization Fellowship Phoenix Temple

1. Analyze your main worries, and write them down. Then write down 3 or 4 solutions and select one of the solutions and implement it.

2. Meditate every day

3. Learn to live one day at a time. When you live in the past (and the future), it is too much for the mind. Then you can focus on the present; it helps eliminate worry.

4. Once you step foot on the spiritual path, realize that everything that comes to you comes from God – absolutely everything – for our own highest good. Thank God for whatever comes to you, good or bad.

5. Forget your mistakes and failures. Focus on your successes.
